Description Of Project Scope: Remove & Replace an existing 120 LF wood tie and rubber panel railroad crossing within a major thoroughfare with new concrete ties and concrete panels. Included in the work was a new drainage system, milling and filling new conforms to improve the transition across the tracks. All work was field fit by C-QC. Initially the project called for the work to be completed during weekdays, C-QC negotiated a 48 hour continuous work window to complete all the work. C-QC completed the work 26 hours ahead of the agreed 48 hour schedule.

- Installation of 1,000 sf of concrete pavers, new metal fence and gate system.

- Change Order work issued to adjust existing LRT track to maintain vertical & horizontal clearances at platform edge. Involved removing ballast, lowering track, adjustment of ties and tamping.

Description Of Project Scope: - Remove and replace 858 track feet of concrete embedded track during weekend shut-downs in congested and tight quarter downtown conditions. Work was performed in three 72 hour around the clock operations.

- Traffic control and detours to maintain downtown traffic flow

- Trench in existing tile paver sidewalk to install 160 lf of conduit. Cut in grout seams to replace pavers to previous condition.

Description Of Project Scope: This project included emergency repairs directed by owner. Necessary work included demo of existing ac to expose rail to investigate. Replacement of 2,925 lf of curved rail for the “ladder” in the maintenance yard. Replacement of 130 joint bars, weld and grind as necessary to smooth top of rail joints. Replaced 125 wooden ties and hand tamped to align rail.

Performed 36 thermite welds on premium rail for new tunnel track.
